  • The Gallery Bar (Brunswick Steet, gay triangle), also the place of the Glasgow Leather Socials

  • Riding Room (Virginia Street, gay triangle) Cocktail and cabaret bar

  • Katie's Bar (St. John street, gay triangle). Cocktail bar in the basement of a building

  • Underground Bar (St. John street, gay triangle) Crowd is said to be a bit older, and they have a monthly Glasgow Bear night.

  • Woody's, formerly SpeakEasy (St. John street, gay triangle) Upscale gay coctail bar, serving food also.

  • Delmonicas (Virginia Street, gay triangle). With karaoke, quizzes, sometimes parties.

  • The Corset Club (Virginia Street, gay tirangle): Cocktail bar. The evening is often ticketed events which may not be so interesting.

  • Merchant Pride (Candleriggs, not too far from the gay triangle). Artists in the weekend, karaoke on Saturday night.

  • The Waterloo Bar (Argyle Street, close to Glasgow Central Station) Probably the oldest bar, with cheap prices.

  • The Belle (Great Western Road, far from the centre) Gay-friendly bar, said to have a good beer selection.

Night clubs

  • AXM Glasgow (Glassford Street, gay triangle)

  • Polo Lounge (Wilson Street, gay triangle)

  • Club X (Virginia Street, gay triangle) in the basement of the Polo Lounge? Gay nightclub, taking the S&M theme seriously.

  • DILF Scotland @ The Poetry Club, every last Saturday of the month. Dance event ofr bears, cubs, leather, etish and rubber. Not clear though if this still exists as the facebook page is gone.
