  • Thursday 27 August

    • 08h29 bus from Hulsberg

    • 09h06 train to Brussels South

    • 10h57 Eurostar left at 11h20 and arrived in London with a delay of half an hour (12h27)

    • 13h53 train to Manchester, arrived a few minutes late around 16h10

    • Check-in at the hotel

    • Walk through the gay neighbourhood:

    • CloneZone for extra Mister S wristband

    • Eagle to see if I could finish my registration

    • A beer in Lodge

    • Pick up my wristband for Pride

    • Dinner at Great Northern Pie. Got a different dish than ordered but a nice compensation.

    • Two beer at Northern Monk Refectory

  • Friday 28 August

    • Spanking date in Bolton

    • Some beer in Sureshot taproom and a burger at Archie’s in Manchester Piccadilly

    • Long recovery at the hotel

    • Manchester Pride

      • Walk around the village

      • Leather Social @ The Lodge. Hard to get in talks with people...

      • Had a hod dog at one of the food stands. It was not very good.

  • Saturday 29 August: Main Pride day.

    • Short walk through Manchester, exploring the streets for the march and trying to find better rain protection for my kilt outfit.

    • Changing clothes at the hotel.

    • At the pride from about when it opened at noon. Skipped the march to go see Just The Brave at 14h50.

    • Left relatively early and went to Balance Tap Room instead

  • Sunday 30 August:

    • Morning walk through Manchester (prepared loop)

    • Manchester Pride

      • Mac&Cheese snack

      • Afternoon Tea at Richmods Tea Room

      • Stayed till the end, taking several acts at the main stage

  • Monday 31 August

    • Walk to Salford. Variation of the prepared return trip to stay longer along the Irwell.

    • Manchester Pride

      • Snack: Mac&Cheese Pride version

      • Dinner: Korean fried chicken

      • Stayed for the vigil and then back to the hotel

  • Tuesday 1 September

    • Double loop in Marsden

      • 9:00 train which left with 15 minutes delay.

      • Lunch: Sandwiches at Mazzs's in Marsden

      • After the walk: Beer at The Riverhead Brewery Tap.

      • 17:05 train to Manchester

    • Some rest in the hotel.

    • Indian food at Bundobust Brewery on Oxford Street

    • Some beers at Company Bar

  • Wednesday 2 September: Rainy day

    • Morning: Visit the John Rylands Library and Afflecks Market

    • Lunch in the Head of Steam. Likely from the same owner as the pub with the same name in Birmingham where I went often as it was the same concept.

    • Some rest at the hotel as I was feeling a little ill.

    • Manchester Cathedral, followed by a walk along the River Irk and then back along the Rochdale Canal Towpath.

    • Some beers at Cask

    • One more beer and some food at Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse Ancoats

    • Again some rest in the hotel

    • Visit to the REM bar in the Gay Village

  • Thursday 3 September

    • GMR Stage 8 from Broadbottom to Greenfield

      • Hard terrain at times with invisible path in the moors. I wonder if the GPS track is right, the real path may have been more to the left on the top of the hill.

      • Road from Chew reservoir was closed so needed a diversion staying high for a long time with a very steep descent to the XXX reservoir.

    • Some rest in the hotel

    • Dinner at Arnero Indian restaurant in the village. Strange place. Barman was not there so no cocktails. No desserts and no coffee.

    • Date with Luca at Company Bar, REM and my hotel.

  • Friday 4 September

    • Walk from East Didsbury station along the Mersey and the water parks, but instead of going towards Sale, taking the tram back at Stretford.

      Not as impressive as I expected.

    • A burger and some beers at Society (where the bar is a Vocation taproom even though most beers are from other breweries)

    • Walk back to the hotel along Canal Street.

    • A long nap at the hotel.

    • Pizza at Nell's in Kampus

    • SpankGuys at the Eagle.

    • Short walk through the Village to feel the Friday evening atmosphere, but too tired to participate.

  • Saturday 5 September

    • Heritage walk gay village

    • To the station, fortunately ate some snacks in the lounge

    • Train to London Euston. No food, no drinks, only coffee and 12 minutes late...

    • Public transportation to hotel (tube)

    • Long nap at the hotel and checking out YouTube via the smartphone on the TV.

    • Early dinner at Santoro on Exmouth Market

    • Drinks at Craft Beer Co on Leather Lane

    • Early return to the hotel, some TV and early to bed. Not a very good night sleep as I did have the cough.

  • Sunday 6 September

    • Walk to Greenwich along the Thames Path

    • A beer near the station

    • Meeting with Jorg. Walk around the park.

    • Coffee in a museum caffee

    • Food in Richard I

    • Shower in the hotel

    • Some beers in Mikkeler Exmouth Market

  • Monday 7 September

    • Walk from Cheshunt to Theydon Bois. Only average, as everything was very dry. And I missed a part of the Epping Forest that was closed due to a tree disease.

      Also, the Oak Trail does not run where Komoot thinks it does, and I needed to find an alternative trail at some point.

    • Late lunch and some beers at The Bull.

    • Back to the hotel for some rest.

    • Cloudwater taproom at Enid Street, took a sandwich on the way to it.

  • Tuesday 8 September: Rather rainy day at the start.

    • V&A till around noon. Phantastic museum.

    • Transfer by tube to Brick Lane.

    • Pick up arm harnesses at Fetish Daddy.

    • Lithuanian food at Upmarket Food Hall in Brick Lane.

    • Short walk through Brick Lane

    • By tube back to the hotel

    • Some rest.

    • Dinner at the Eagle near MA1: The Bunker

    • Spanking night at The Bunker.

    • Mikkeler was full so went to Clerkenwell Tavern instead for a beer.

  • Wednesday 9 September: Back to sunny weather.

    • Metro to Richmond.

    • Walk along the Thames to Battersea.

    • Some beer and (poor) food at Battersea Brewery

    • Metro to Preston Road (walk between Euston and Euston Square)

    • CBT and nipple torture with Az

    • Metro back to Farringdon

    • Steak dinner in the Wilmingtpon

    • Some beers in Mikkeler

    • Back to the hotel

  • Thursday 10 September

    • Metro to Hendon Central

    • Stage 11 of the TfL Capital Ring Walk

    • Metro from Highgate to Camden Town

    • Gnocchi in a bar under the railway

    • Some beers at 3 Locks Brewery taproom

    • Walk back to Exmouth Market

    • Some beer at Mikkeler

    • Rest at the hotel. Switch to leather gear

    • King's Arms

    • Indian food in The India Leicester Square

    • Cabaret-karaoke at Halfway to Heaven

    • Back to the hotel by bus

  • Friday 11 September

    • Wanted to go to Windsor but there were too much issues with the Elisabeth line and trains between London Paddington and Slough, so turned back to Woolwich.

    • Stages 1 and 2 of the TfL Capital Ring Walk (Woolwich to Green Park)

    • Back by train to Farringdon

    • A sandwich at Gregg's on Leather Lane

    • A few beers at Craft Beer Co Leather Lane

    • Back to the hotel for some rest

    • Dinner at Machan Kitchen, the Sri Lankan restaurant opposite the hotel.

    • Some beers on the Bermondsey Beer Mile: Craft Beer Junction and Mash Paddle Brewery.

  • Saturday 12 September

    • Morning: Walk to Leadenhall Market, Saint Dunstan in the East, Tower, Thames and back to the hotel.

    • Pizza at Pizza Pelgrims

    • Some rest in the hotel

    • Boyz and Sirs. Stayed till 7pm. Missed the cane. Some gentle hand spanking, good nipple torture and CBT by Az, some nice strapping with belts.

    • Indian restaurant Cinnamon Tree in Exmouth Market

    • Wanted to go to Soho but as I was chatting with Kai decided to go to Craft Beer Co instead (in leather as I was dressed for Soho already). This should have happened an hour earlier, I could have gone to Kai then who was near Holland Park.

  • Sunday 13 September

    • Packing.

    • Walk through London towards the Parliament

    • Nice dinner at Macellaio on Exmouth Market

    • Some beers at Mikkelers

    • Somewhat after 3PM via tube in Farringdon to Saint Pancras

    • Train home. Eurostar arrived with 10 minutes delay, after that everything went rather smooth.
