Where to stay?¶
Dublin is currently a very, very expensive city...
As in London, university accomodations are rented out as hotel rooms during some breaks:
-
Dublin City University Rooms. There are several locations.
-
Trinity College also offers rooms, but not sure this is the best link for the hotel service. I found out about it on booking.com.
What to do (day)¶
Interesting places to visit¶
-
Kilminham Gaol museum: A former prison-turned-museum and national monument. It did held political prisoners in the past. During guided tours, visitors can learn about the country’s struggle for independence and the role of LGBTQIA+ individuals in shaping Irish history.
-
Temple Bar neighbourhood is the gay neighbourhood.
-
The National Gallery of Ireland: Free art museum.
-
St. Stepeh's Green is a nice park to incorporate in a city walk.
