Gay bars

Most of the gay bars are in the area known as the "Gay Village", around Hurst Street. It is a little south of the main station (Birmingham New Street).

• Eden Bar: In the gay village.

• Equator Bar: In the gay village. Closed on Mondays.

• The Fountain Inn: Gay bar in the Gay Village with a cruise zone (letting rooms). Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

• The Fox: Lesbian bar but gays and friends welcome.

• Loft Bar & Kitchen: In the Gay Village.

• Missing Bar: Party atmosphere in the weekend, with go-go dancers. In the Gay Village.

• Sidewalk: Gay bar and restaurant in the Gay Village.

• The Village Inn: Bar in the Gay Village with drag cabaret shows and themed nights.

• The Duke of Wellington Hotel & Bar: More a traditional English pub in a hotel on the edge of the Gay Village.

Cruisy

• BOLTZ Birmingham: The only gay cruise and fetish club in Birmingham. Some nights with dress code. In the Gay Village.

• Remaining gay sauna: Spartan. Not in the Gay Village, but North of the city centre.
