This is correct, with the one exception being that in the final sentence you'd likely exclude the second 点 (一点都不能给别人). It's not *wrong* to say it with 点点, but it's less frequent.

Could this also have worked with 别随便相信别人? If so - would've been a good way to see 别's versatility in the same sentences. 'Don't do this....other people'

Yes! 别 and 不要 have the same meaning. 别 is just a bit less formal or strong.
