Double 了 means the process is still ongoing. Check out this grammar video on it for more info: D:\Courses\Mandarin Blueprint\Course/phase-3-simple-grammar-levels-13-20/categories/3825697/posts/11575648.html

Will there be a grammar point on the difference between 着 and 到? To me they both seem to be verb complements meaning the same thing: in successfully achieving an action.

There isn't any difference in meaning (when 着 is pronounced zháo). It's just a matter of style. 到 is far more common, but then there are certain words that tend to always use 着, the most frequent being 睡着 shuìzháo.

Is there a measure word for 页? Doesn't appear to be one here: 我写了几页

REPLY

Mandarin Blueprint

页 itself is a measure word!
