In 她都不会长胖, what is the function of 都? I associate this word with plural things or collective things, rather than with a singular pronoun.

It usually gives the meaning of "even", i.e. expressing shock/surprise. "She won't EVEN get fat!"

Hi Luke and Phil. I'm getting caught up on the 对 in 他对这件事不想多说. How is it operating in this context?

对 means "to face" so think about that when looking at this sentence. It's used when directing thoughts or feelings TO someone/something.

Thanks for the quick reply! Ahhh... So he is directing his feeling about not wanting to talk much about it (不想多说) toward this thing (这件事). I think I get it now. Still hard for me to see 对 as anything other than 'correct'.

Hi Luke & Phil. In level 22, the sentence 这里环境很好，多少人想来呢！The translation shows it as: The environment is really great here, loads of people are wanting to come! I translate 多少 as "how many", so would it be ok to say 这里环境很好，很多人想来呢 instead？

Yes, that's grammatically fine. Just like how 几个 can mean "how many" or "a few," 多少 can either be asking "how many" or stating "several."

Doesn't sound right to me. Usually, you'll only use 得多 (note, it would be 得 not 的) when making a comparison. For example, 我比你快得多 Wǒ bǐ nǐ kuài de duō - "I'm *much* faster than you." In the context of this sentence, 多说 sounds much more natural.

Not sure how 每天都比我吃得多得多 is working:
i.e. 得多得多 is a complement to 吃得?

You could also say "比我吃得多多了"

Hi Luke & Phil, in level 19, there was a sentence "你儿子的这种行为给别人带来了不少麻烦.". Specifically, 不少 literally translates to "not a little". Is it possible to say instead "你儿子的这种行为给别人带来了很多麻烦" instead? It seems more grammatically correct, when translated into english, but may it wouldn't be correct in chinese. Thanks!

They're pretty much the same, just a different modifier for 麻烦. Perhaps 不少 is a little more tactful, but they mean the same thing.
