每天早晨起来,我都会喝一杯冰水
By placing the 都 after 我, is there a shift in the sense of 'all' to focus on 'I' rather than it being 每天早晨都?
Mandarin Blueprint
It's less about what comes before 都 and more about what comes after. If I say 每天早晨都起来, the emphasis is that on "all" 每天早晨" I "起来," but by saying 我都会喝一杯冰水, the emphasis is on the routine of drinking a glass of ice water.
