我应该早上来办公室上班

Can you speak a bit to what 上班 does at the end if the translation doesn't include 'go to work' explicitly? Is it just to be specific about the fact that going to the office is for the purpose of work rather than just going to a random office?

Yeah, that's about the size of it. It sounds redundant in English to say "come to work in the office," but in Chinese, you can easily add 上班 without sounding strange.
