Regarding the use of 连 as "even":
I find it helpful in learning grammar structures, to try to understand or at least make up a story about how the components work, since it's a principle about language that grammar structures were created by metaphorical extension of words describing simple, often physically-based things.
So my story here is:
连 links up that part to all the other parts, referred to in the 都
So in 她连看都没看我, "looking at me" is linked up to all the other things she didn't do (not specified here, but presumably talking, etc.)
Note that an earlier sentence at level 28
不仅工作日在工作,连休息日也会工作。
shows another version using 连 and 也.
[Luke & Phil, I just discovered this is referred to by
GS-Exact-连……都-Emphasize-Even-That,
so my comment may be redundant]

In 这两句话连不起来。what is the role of 话?
Is 句话 a longer version of 句?

Mandarin Blueprint

Think of 句 as being the measure word for 话. It could be 两段话 (duàn - 'two paragraphs'), but instead it's 两句话 ('two sentences').

她连看都没看我!

What's the purpose of the 2 看 in this sentence? Thanks!

Mandarin Blueprint

This is a common construction. The first is to establish what you're talking about and the second actually describes the verb. Look out for more examples of this in your sentences!
