你对我的同事感兴趣吗?

I learned "interested in" as 有兴趣. Is there any difference between this and 感兴趣? I only recall seeing 有兴趣 used in reference to hobbies or academic interests, rather than people.

Also, the example sentence is translated as "Are you interested in my colleague?" I assume the context here indicates a professional interest in working with someone, etc. But could it also imply a romantic interest in someone?

Edit: I see I should have just watched the grammar lesson on 对!
