In this sentence 我想吃有牛肉的菜. Please explain the use of 有 in this sentence. How does the sentence meaning change if 有 is removed? Is 有 grouped with 吃 or with 牛肉的菜?

Thanks, Andy

Mandarin Blueprint

Without the 有 it wouldn't work, it must be there if you want to express this meaning of "dishes with beef in them"

我想吃有牛肉的菜,你们有哪些?

This one made sense once I realised that "哪些" is a word:

https://www.dragondictionary.com/words/哪些

They're asking: Which ones (dishes) do you have, (that are beef dishes)?

Thanks!
