Usage 1 - " (preposition used to shift the object to before the verb, which must be accompanied by some other word or expression, often a verb complement) ": 

Sentence

老板把他骂哭了。  

English:

The boss yelled at him until he cried.

When I'm doing this card I keep guessing 老板-对-他骂哭了。
Would that also be correct?

I agree with Alex's comment. Even the first, relatively simple sentence, above, has a word order that I cannot understand. Please parse a few of these - perhaps a "grammar point" video?

Hi there,

I was confused by the function of 把 anytime I had seen it previously in the course...
unfortunately, I still am!
Is there an easy, layman's explanation that could help me understand its usage?
