Hi, I have made it this far but still am a little unclear about the word connection flashcards. The directions are to add an image. I have been doing this but I also see mnemonics like this one "I QUESTIONed him how it WENT, HE said there was a PROBLEM". I really like this particular one. Is a mnemonic on its own good enough?
In some ways it seems a mnemonic might be better than an image.
Thanks,
Andy

Hey Andy, it's possible that you'd already finished Phase 2 when we updated it with a bunch of useful content about compound word mnemonics. Here's the first of a 4-part series about it: D:\Courses\Mandarin Blueprint\Course/phase-2-vocabulary-levels-7-12/categories/3445876/posts/15089221.html
Also, From Levels 7-12, every "New Vocabulary Unlocked" lesson has a recently updated video that goes through the different techniques you can use to memorize words in great detail. I'm sure after you review those videos you'll have a much clearer idea of how to approach these lessons.

As children we often went to (sounds like) Wendy's 问题 and filled out those (surveys) QUESTIONS on what we thought about the food. We would often make PROBLEMS for the restaurant by filling out multiple surveys all with silly answers.
