Cyanobacteria also commonly known as blue-green algae. I'm imagining this huge blue-green blob of a bacteria that moves around and talks.

When I looked up things that were the color of cyan, I found two that would be interesting props: 3D glasses (one of the colors is cyan) and a surgical mask (all the latest rage here in Taiwan these days). I chose the surgical mask.

At a stretch one can imagine the character to vaguely resemble Tutankhamun's burial mask, which is inlaid with horizontal bands of turquoise and lapis lazuli, a mineral source of cyan.

That Cyanobacteria that Kent Broeckelman mentioned should be none other than Plankton from Spongebob :D , infact Plankton's colour is blue-green, I think he would be perfect except for the fact that I already used him... nooooooo....

I like the tiffany blue box colour, but this character's shape made me choose Statue of Liberty for its distinctive colour.
