Queen Elizabeth is standing in my sister's livingroom (an set) in front of a podium, holding a gold medal, looking out the large window down the road. FAR AWAY in the distance, she can just see the Olympic marathon runners just coming into view, the crowd cheering. She sighs, they are so FAR AWAY, that she is going to be standing there a long time....

Freya (Norse God of Love and Fertility) is in the Common Room of my AN set. She exclaims to the fellow students there that her place is FAR AWAY, but the student don't know 'How Far'? Then Freya pulls out a RED CARPET that rises out the window as the carpet is connected to the Bifrost Rainbow Bridge (the ways Norse Gods travel) and pulls of a GREEN FLAG indicating the bridge is safe to travel very long distances (Across Worlds Actually).

Hey Phil and Luke,
I actually did a similar movie scene before I listened to this lesson, but I stopped before I listened to this b/c I needed to put this in a room in my AN set. I think that she had it in the Lab so that takes care of the Tone; thoughts? Thank you again for this awesome and super fun way of learning Mandarin.
Shalom,
Jerod

Hey Jerod. Is your set a hospital or research center? If so then you can assign rooms to any tone you like really, as there aren't living rooms/bedrooms/etc. All examples scenes should be used as a general guide or source of inspiration. Just take what you need from them and apply it to your own sets/actors/props.
