Update Operation and Associated Connections

Main operations performed to update a CPU:

Operation	Communication protocol
Connect the PC to the Modbus or Modbus Plus port of the CPU.	Modbus Modbus Plus
Update the CPU OS.	Modbus Modbus Plus
Reset the CPU by performing a power cycle.	–

CPU Version

The procedure below describes how to update a Quantum CPU.

This procedure can be adopted for all Quantum platforms (high end and legacy platforms).

Physical Connection
