Connect the TSXCUSBMBP adapter to a USB port of your computer.
NOTE: Do not connect the Modbus Plus adapter cable between the TSXCUSBMBP and the CPU at this step to avoid duplicate Modbus Plus node addresses on the Modbus Plus network. Connect it only after setting the Modbus Plus address (step 4).

Follow the installation process until a message is displayed to indicate that the new hardware is ready to use.

Restart your computer.

Set the TSXCUSBMBP adapter Modbus Plus address.
NOTE: The CPU default Modbus Plus address is 1. This means that a different address needs to be assigned to the TSXCUSBMBP adapter.
To change the TSXCUSBMBP adapter Modbus Plus address:
The TSXCUSBMBP adapter is ready to be used for updating a CPU module.

Connect the Modbus Plus adapter cable between the TSXCUSBMBP and the CPU.
