Automatic Start in RUN for Modicon M340 PLCs

Description

Automatic start in RUN is a processor configuration option. This option forces the PLC to start in RUN after a cold restart, except after an application has been loaded onto the PLC.

For Modicon M340 this option is not taken into account when the power supply RESET button is pressed after a processor error, except in the case of a watchdog error.

UNEXPECTED SYSTEM BEHAVIOR - UNEXPECTED PROCESS START

The following actions will trigger automatic start in RUN:

Restoring the application from memory card,
Unintentional or careless use of the reset button.
