AIO330: Configuring the Quantum module AIO 330 00
Original instructions
Function description
The function block is used to edit the configuration data of an AIO 330 00 Quantum module for subsequent use by the scaling EFBs.
This module has 8 intrinsically safe symmetrical output channels for controlling and supervising the currents in the ranges 0 to 20 mA, 0 to 25 mA and 4 to 20 mA.
For the configuration of an AIO 330 00 the function block in the configuration section is connected to the corresponding SLOT output of the QUANTUM or DROP function block. The %MW references specified in the I/O map are automatically assigned internally to individual channels. The channels can only be occupied by Unlocated variables.
The analog values can be further processed in Scaling Sections using the O_NORM, O_PHYS, O_RAW and O_SCALE procedures.
EN and ENO can be configured as additional parameters.

Runtime error
If no AIO 330 00 module has been configured for the specified SLOT input, an error message is returned.
The status message "Open circuit or range violation on channel" can be requested via the status register defined in the I/O map.
NOTE: For a list of all block error codes and values, seeQuantum I/O Configuration.
