Introducing the Embedded Web Pages

Introduction

Use the web pages to perform diagnostics for the BMENOC0321 Ethernet communications module to display real-time diagnostic data for both the BMENOC0321 communications module and other networked devices.

Open the Web Page

Access the Diagnostics tab:

Step	Action
1	Open an Internet browser.
2	In the address bar, enter the IP address of the Modicon M580 communications module.
3	Press Enter.

Menu Items

Expand the menu on the Diagnostics tab to access this diagnostics information:

Menu Items		Description
Module	Status Summary	View status information for the communications module.
	Performance	View performance statistics for the communications module.
	Port Statistics	View statistics for each port on the communications module.
Connected Devices	I/O scanner	View the scanner status and connection statistics for the communications module.
Connected Devices	Messaging	View current information for open Modbus TCP connections on port 502.
Services	QoS	View information about the QoS service.
	NTP	View the operating parameters for the network time service.
	Redundancy	View the configured values for the RSTP configuration of the communications module.
	E-mail	View the diagnostics information that correspond to the e-mail service.
System	Alarm viewer	View the diagnostics information that correspond to running services and communications module operations:

Software Requirements

The embedded web server in the M580 CPUs displays data in standard HTML web pages.

Observe these requirements to access embedded web pages with a PC, iPad, or Android tablet:
