Microsoft released a temporary Hotfix for the problematic Hotfix 823980 that appears in Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 and corrupts MAX, VIZ and DRF files. If you installed Hotfix 823980 on the English- language version of Windows 2000/XP or Service Pack 4 on Windows 2000, you can request Microsoft Hotfix Q824136 by calling 800.936.4900. Microsoft will e-mail the 1MB file. Note that the fix works only if you've already installed the previous Hotfix or Service Pack, as described above. Désolé pour l'anglais!
