Actually I was also thinking of using a butler (Heathcliff from Big Hero 6) or Garfield because he always requests for more food.

Christopher Dolman's idea is perfect! It even look like a service counter bell! Unfortunately I've already used this prop earlier. So I'm going with the request button for a flight attendant (on a plane) or a doctor (in a hospital).
