Lesson 2 of 2

Vocab Unlocked from 片: 照片

Congratulations!
New Word(s) of Two-Characters or More Unlocked!

The word(s) below have a corresponding flashcard in the Hanzi & Words deck associated with this level. Before you end today's study session, add an image to the card (how to add images to flashcards). After that, unsuspend the card(s).

照片

Note 1: People pronounce this both as zhàopiàn and zhàopiān (or zhàopiānr). Both are fine, but zhàopiān is a bit more colloquial.

Note 2: You learned 拍照 a few lessons ago, and we just wanted to note that you can also say "拍照片" to mean the same thing.

Usage 1 - "n. photograph; picture"

Living Link Suggestion(s):

  • The slice your camera gives you after you illuminated something is a PICTURE or PHOTOGRAPH.
  • Find images of Polaroid pictures.
