My grandson Gabriel is nervously standing at attention in front of my "an" location. His commanding officer looks him in the eye and curtly asks, "Are you WILLING to go through with this final test?" Gabriel signifies his WILLINGNESS with a slight nod. The officer hands Gabriel a cup of tea with a razor blade balanced on top. "Okay, then. You may begin." Gabriel takes the cup with shaking hands and carefully sips the tea through the razorblade without injuring himself. "Recruit, you have passed the final test. We are now WILLING to place you on our elite squadron! Are you ready to join us?" Gabriel's enthusiastic nod signals his heartfelt WILLINGNESS to join.

Gandalf is outside the entrance of Andy's house. Using a razor (prop 1), he scratches a secret message on the door for the Dwarves to be able to find the place. Then he rings the bell and asks his friend Andy for a cup of tea (prop 2).
Over tea, he asks Andy if he's WILLING to join him and his friends on the adventure of a lifetime.

Actor: my Grandad (g-).
Set: Outside the entrance of my aunty ANn's house (-an).
Props: Cup of Tea (廿), and a razor blade (一).
Grandad and I were having a nice chat on the front steps of my -an set. While he was looking I slipped a razor blade into his tea. Unfazed, he drinks it anyway. I was surprised that he was still WILLING to drink the tea after what I put in it! When I asked him why, he just chuckled and said that's what they used to eat during the war!

For 'willing' I use George Bush Jr and Tony Blair holding hands - the coalition of the willing.

In my set, my G-actor Götz George is carrying a bull's head around and says "Who is WILLING to try and throw a razor blade into the bull's eye?"
Jocko WILLINK says no problem and, being Jocko Willink, gets it done easily.
I've found that these double representations of abstract meanings help me a lot remembering them.
