Forrest Gump and Dr. Watson are sitting at the table in the kitchen of my childhood home in the evening. There is a large, sealed envelope on the table. It is very dark, because there is no moon in the sky. While Dr. Watson ponders the mystery of why the moon disappeared, Forrest Gump sheepishly breaks the seal, and pulls the moon out of the envelope. Dr. Watson is dumfounded, and while he would like to know how Forrest pulled off a stunt like that, knows instead that he must immediately CONVINCE Forrest to replace the moon in the sky. He gesticulates wildly, repeatedly pointing at the moon on the table and then out the window at the pitch black sky. Forrest hangs his head and stands up, then grabs the moon, goes to the open window, and flings it back up to the sky, CONVINCED that it was the right thing to do.

Since 服 can be a verb for convince or a noun for clothes, I wrote a script that employs both.

The Flash is in the kitchen of my childhood home listening to a debate between a good friend [who's my ㄗ prop because of her love for the Pittsburgh Pirates] and Robin [又] . The topic is whether or not the shrunken moon [stolen by Gru in "Despicable Me" and used in some previous scenes] should be returned to space or used as a clothes. The Flash is convinced - he's going to use it as clothes. The scene ends with him trying it on.

Location: Childhood Home (Kitchen)
Actor: Fung Yu-Sau (Villian from the movie Kung Fu Killer)
Props: Moon, Wax Seal, My friend Aaron (Right Hand Man)

I'm hanging out with my friend Aaron in the kitchen of my childhood home having some beers when we hear a knock at the door. I answer it and it is Fung Yu-Sau. Surprised, I ask if he is here to fight me. He says no, that he is now reaching out to people to help them learn Chinese. Relieved, I let him in and he tells me he is going to show me a new way to learn Chinese (like I haven't heard that before). He has my friend Aaron hold a giant wax seal he brought and then he pulls a big, glowing moon out of his bag and holds it up next to the wax seal. He then asks if he can CONVINCE me to study Chinese with the program he represents because these three props put together just taught me the word for CONVINCE. I tell him this looks awfully familiar and when I ask if he knows Phil Crimmins and Luke Neale, he quickly grabs his stuff and runs away as I yell at him to tell them that I'm not CONVINCED!

Kung Fu Panda (fu-) is cooking in the kitchen (2nd) at my childhood home. He PUT ON his apron so he doesn’t make a mess. He works from morning until the moon (月)comes out. Poe makes Robin (又) the best dumplings ever. Robin agrees and puts his wax seal (卩) of approval TO CONVINCE everyone that they are awesome.

5. Fry reaches up to the 月 (Moon), holding the 卩 (Wax Sealed letter), while standing on top of 又 (R2D2).

Randall Flagg (from 'The Stand') is levitating in the kitchen of my CHILDHOOD HOME while the MOON is out in the Sky. Then MORTY SMITH comes in holding a WAX SEALED Envelope. He calls out to Flagg who comes back down and acts a little annoyed, then Flagg rips open the sealed envelope and reads the letter. Flagg then asks Morty if what he read is true? Morty nods and Flagg smiles, knowing the letter has CONVINCED him otherwise.

Thanks for posting your fabulous movie, @John Nomura! I added a bit about wearing clothes.

In the kitchen of my childhood home, Dr. Fu Manchu (fu- actor) - while WEARING his typical CLOTHES (衣服 yīfú), including his Qing Dynasty hat (清代官帽 Qīng dài guān mào) - finally CONVINCES (服) his right hand man (又) to give his seal of approval (卩) for a trip to the moon (月).

I'm glad it helped - I never know if my scenes help others or not.

@John Nomura, I am so grateful for your scenes and comments! I follow your and others' comments as if they're part of Ariadne's ball of thread, except, hand-over-hand, we're following you through and into a really challenging maze! And because MBers can make movies end the way they want, when the last bit of thread unwinds at the Minotaur's feet, the Minotaur won't eat us but will hand each of a little gold coin that says "Phase 5, Level 36 - Completed!" I read all the comments after each lesson to learn nuances and to really help me think about the characters. Truly, thank you.
