My grandson Gabriel is in my sister's livingroom with a huge hook in his hand and a vat of icicles in front of him. His job is to grab the icicles with the hook and transfer them to a large tub that has been placed near the window in front of the sun, so that they melt into much needed freshwater. Unfortunately, he has been using the hook so enthusiastically, it has begun to become BLUNT, and it is getting more and more difficult for him to grab the icicles with it. Finally, he throws the BLUNTED hook down in frustration and stomps off to the bedroom.

Hey guys, is 艮 pronounced with a 3rd or 4th tone? As this page shows both.
Mandarin Blueprint
It can be both actually. It's a 多音字 (multi-sound character). That said, it's VERY rare. We're only teaching it because it's a significant component in a lot of characters. When it means "Blunt" it is 3rd tone, so we'll keep it there for now.

George Foreman (g-) is in Karen’s (-en) bedroom (3rd tone) feeling awkward because he is playing dress up with his daughter. She’s playing a sun in her dance recital and asked him to dress up too. George has a Sun (日) mask on with a tutu (𧘇). He looks in the mirror and is as BLUNT as possible, I look stupid.

Greg is sleeping off his hangover in the platform t(en)t. The Sun puppet strides is on Skates and begins singing the 'good morning " song, in a bright overly cheerful voice, while rolling around the tent.
Singing: "The bright sun comes up, the dew--Hrrrrggk!"
Greg has Hooked (literally) the sun, and caught it in a chokehold, using the hook as a Blunt instrument.
"Let me be BLUNT. Sunshine and mornings doesn't happen until I say it does. Got it?"
The Sun nods, and runs when Greg released him. Greg rolls over back to sleep.MB Team

Very keen to get started on phase 4, although I had a scroll through and can’t seem to find any of the longer form content - videos, text trackers, zip files and the rest. I mostly use my iPhone , where might I find these resources ?
Mandarin Blueprint
The longer form content starts after the Level 21 - Vocab in Context section :)

The SUN is getting too hot, so sends down a fishing HOOK that G actor uses to pass him up some ICICLES.
The HOOK becomes BLUNT, no longer able to HOOK the ICICLES, so the SUN overheats.

I've repurposed the Peter Gabriel Sledgehammer video, Using my G- actor and the props in the stop motion animation. The Sledgehammer music track helps hang it all together.

so you're saying the ice is the little flick connected to what I thought might be a banana?
Dev Chen
I was wondering the same myself!

Gary Oldman sits on a bench in the school yard of my High School (Contains EN). With the sun out he becomes hot and sweaty very quickly, to which he spots a Snow Cone Store in the Distance full of ICICLES. Immediately he takes out a large FISHING HOOK and throws it towards the store. He yanks on the hook's rope hard and pulls the store towards him, only to have the hook slip due to it being too BLUNT.
