Accessing the Home Page

On First Use

Before you begin to use the 140NOC78000 distributed I/O head module’s embedded web pages, you need to:

navigate to the web server
access web page content by inputting the default username and password combination
change passwords that are required for:
- accessing web pages
- writing data values using the data editor

Navigating to the Web Server

To access the embedded web server:

Step	Action
1	Open an Internet browser.
2	Enter the IP address of the 140NOC78000 module in the format: http://IP address.
3	Click Enter.

NOTE: If a DNS name has been assigned to the module, the DNS name can be used instead of the IP address.

Result: The web server opens, displaying the Home page:

Use the Home page as the point of entry to the 140NOC78000 module’s embedded web server. From here, you can navigate to every other web page.
