Executing a Profile

At a Glance
The following operations are applicable to any profile:
The number of iterations is specified in the NB_RT_PFi word, and may vary from 1 to 32,767.
NOTE: the first loop iteration segment is not necessarily the first segment in the profile. The segment in question is configured in the $$$Execution tab of the Configuration screen. The advantage of this method lies in the capacity to define, for any given profile, segments which will execute only once upon startup (initialization segments).
How to Launch a Profile Execution Command
The following table lists the steps that trigger the execution of a profile using a software command.

Assign the command value to the CMD_ORDER (%MWr.m.c.7) word.

Include the number of the desired profile in the CMD_PARAM (%MDr.m.c.8 (1 to 6)) double word.

Execute the WRITE_CMD ( LOOP_i) command.
with LOOP_i designating an IODDT-type variable corresponding to the i channel to which the command is applied. Sample LOPP_i of the T_PROC_SPP type.
Note: This command is transmitted through a method called explicit exchange.
Profile Execution Commands
It's possible to launch and apply only one profile at any given moment. The following table lists the commands associated with the hexadecimal value assigned to the CMD_ORDER (%MWr.m.c.7) word.
