Definition of an Application-Specific Channel
An application-specific module (TSX CTY• counting modules, TSX CAY• axis control modules, TSX CFY • step-by-step control modules, the TSX YSP Y• weighing module, the TSX CCY 1128 electronic cam module, TSX CSY 84 or TSX CSY 164 motion control modules, etc.) has a number of channels which may vary from 1 to n depending on the type of module (see Premium and Atrium using EcoStruxure™ Control Expert, Processors, racks and power supply modules, Implementation Manual); these channels are called application-specific channels.
