Introduction
Use the Messaging tab in Control Expert to send and receive messages via Ethernet. The data traffic is handled by the client / server procedure.
The following illustration shows the Messaging dialog box.

Connection configuration
Activates general data transfer.
Access
Activates data transfer between specific nodes.
IP address
Defines the node for the Ethernet messaging procedure.
Access Control
Activates or deactivates control of remote devices that are attempting to open a TCP connection to the module.
