Definition
The Modbus messages may be sent in ASCII or RTU mode.
The ASCII mode uses 7 data bits whereas the RTU modes uses 8. To send a message in RTU characters, Databits should be set to 1.
The value must match the configuration of the communication card.
NOTE: To avoid any problem in the event of configuration changes, use the
system constants of type
%KWr.m.c.1.8 to initialize
the parameter.
