After selecting the processor and/or rack, use this procedure to add a BMX EIA 0100 communication module to the PLC rack in Control Expert:

Action

Open the hardware configuration editor.

Select the slot where you wish to insert the module.

Select the command New Device from the contextual menu.
Result: The New Device window appears:

Open up the line Communication by clicking on the + signs.
Result: The New Device window expands:

Select the module BMX EIA 0100 then confirm with the command OK.
