The command word is the first output register mapped to the module.
The command word format for the ESI module is as follows:

Bits 0 ... 3 - contain the data count (in words), range is 0 ... 9

Bits 4 ... 7 - contain the port number, range is 1 ... 2

Bits 8 ... 15 - contain the command, range is 0 ... A
