Accessing the Home Page

On First Use

Before you begin to use the BMX NOC 0401 communication module’s embedded web pages, you need to:

navigate to the web server
access web page content by inputting the default username and password combination
change passwords that are required for:
- accessing web pages, and
- writing data values using the Data Editor

Navigating to the Web Server

To access the embedded web server, open an Internet browser, then enter the IP address of the Ethernet communication module in the format: http://IP address, then click Enter.

NOTE: If a DNS name has been assigned to the module, the DNS name can be used instead of the IP address.

The web server opens, displaying the Home page:

Use the Home page as the point of entry to the communication module’s embedded web server. From here, you can navigate to every other web page.
