DNP3 Key Management Web Page

Access the Page

Access the CLIENT and SERVER tabs for the DNP3 Key Management web page through the SETUP tab for the BMENOR2200H module (SETUP > MENU > MANAGEMENT > DNP3 Key Management).

Client Parameters

Find these parameters and settings on the on the CLIENT tab on the DNP3 Key Management web page:

Parameter	Description
User Number	This number corresponds to the current DNP3 user.
User Name	This name corresponds to the current DNP3 user.
Key Wrap	Select AES-128 or AES-256 from the pull-down menu.
Update Key	The column contains the value of the pre-shared key.
Generate	For the pre-shared key field (Update Key), you have the option to click the Generate button to use a randomly generated key.
Submit	Click this button to apply the modifications to the selected channel.
Add User	Click this button to open the Add User dialog box. In the screen you can configure the above parameters to create an additional user with defined roles and click the OK button to add the user to the table on the main KEY MANAGEMENT > CLIENT page.

Server Parameters

The server parameters are visible only after you have created a table on the SERVER tab on the DNP3 Key Management web page:

Step	Action
1	Click the Create Table button to open the Create User Table dialog box.
2	Assign a name to the table in the Table Name field.
3	Click the OK button to see the new table in the KEY MANAGEMENT list. NOTE: You can now see the name of the table in the pull-down menu next to the Remove Table button.
4	Additional steps: To add additional tables to the KEY MANAGEMENT list, repeat the above steps. To delete this table, select the table in the pull-down list, click the Remove Table button, and follow the prompts to delete the table. NOTE: The Remove Table button is visible only after you create at least one table. To remove specific users from a table, select the table in the KEY MANAGEMENT list, click the trash can icon, and follow the prompts to remove the user from the table.

Parameters descriptions:

Parameter	Description
User Number	This number corresponds to the current DNP3 user.
User Name	This name corresponds to the current DNP3 user.
User Role	Select a role for the user according to the role descriptions.
Key Wrap	Select the appropriate wrap algorithm (AES-128 or AES-256).
Update Key	The column contains the value of the pre-shared key.

Add User	Click this button to open the Add User dialog box. In the screen you can configure the above parameters to create an additional user with defined roles and click the OK button to add the user to the table on the main KEY MANAGEMENT > SERVER page.
Submit	Click this button to apply the modifications to the selected channel.

Execute Changes

After you configure any of these parameters, press the Apply button in the page banner to implement your changes.

NOTE: The Apply and Discard buttons are disabled (grayed out) when the configuration is not valid.
