- You have to have 5 poly plugs at one end of the Poly Plug board in 1 colour and 1 in another colour at the opposite end.
- The one at the bottom is the mouse.
- The ones at the top are the cats.
- The cats have to try and catch the mouse before the mouse can get up to the top, where the cats started.
- The cats trap the mouse by having 4 cats around it.
- Each player takes turns moving his or her plugs.
- The cats can go any way.
- The mouse can only move forward, sideways and backwards.
- The mouse starts first.
- When the mouse is trapped the game is finished.
