Update Operation and Associated Connections

Main operations performed to update a 140 CRP 312 00 firmware:

140 CRP 312 00 Default IP Address

If the 140 CRP 312 00 module is not configured in the Unity Pro application, it takes the IP address built from its MAC address:10.10.xxx.yyy where xxx and yyy are the last two values of 140 CRP 312 00 module MAC address.

For example, if the MAC address is: 00.80.F4.09.01.66 in hexadecimal, the corresponding default IP address is: 10.10.1.102 in decimal.

IP Address of the PC

Change the IP address of your PC to get it into the same subnetwork as the 140 CRP 312 00 module.

The first three groups of digits have to be the same. For example, the 140 CRP 312 00 module address is 10.10.1.102 and the PC address needs to be 10.10.1.xx.

Physical Connection

Connect the PC to one of the following Ethernet ports of the 140 CRP 312 00 module:

SERVICE port.
INTERLINK port.
