Hot/Cold
(Original Document)
Description
This function is useful if two opposing actuators are used to cover the whole range of the adjustment spectrum. It is placed downstream from the Loop Controller.
The Hot/Cold function also includes the following operating processes:
The Hot/Cold function is used to manage analog outputs as well as servo drives with copy. It does not allow managing servo drives without copy.
When using this function, you must set the loop controller output scale on (0, 100).
Function Parameters
Function parameters define the characteristics of each actuator, that is to say the manner in which both vary between both thresholds.
The output value varies in a linear fashion. Outside the two thresholds, the output is limited to the preset thresholds.
Output 1 manages the "cold," while Output 2 manages the "heat."

Execution Monitoring
The system indicates a processing error in the following cases:
In any case, the error is considered to be critical. The loop output is frozen, while errors are signaled in the status words. An error (warning) is also displayed if the OUT1_TH1, OUT1_TH2, OUT2_TH1 and OUT2_TH2 thresholds do not fall between 0 and 100%.
