The "Remote Axis" function is carried out by channels 13 to 16 of the TSX CSY 84 module and by channels 1 to 16 of the TSX CSY 164 module.
The remote axis can be used to integrate position data delivered by a remote system.
The following diagram illustrates the difference between a real axis and a remote axis, as seen by the servodrive with the TSX CSY 84 module:
The remote axis function is accessible, according to its configuration, via:
-
the REMOTE_POSITION (%QDr.m.c.0) language object (implicit exchange),
-
a servodrive's auxiliary input.
NOTE: On the Remote Axis channels supported by a real axis, fault flagging is implemented on the corresponding real axis channel.
