Introduction
The green memory card access LED underneath the SD memory card door indicates the CPU access to the memory card when a card is inserted. This LED can be seen when the door is open.
Dedicated LED States
By itself, the memory card access LEDs indicate these states:
LED Status
Description
ON
The memory card is recognized, but the CPU is not accessing it.
flashing
The CPU is accessing the memory card.
blinking
The memory card is not recognized.
OFF
The memory card can be removed from the CPU slot or the CPU does not recognize the memory card.
NOTE: Confirm that the LED is OFF before you remove the card from the slot.
Combined LED Meanings
The access card LED operates together with the BACKUP LED. Their combined patterns indicate the following diagnostic information:
